Daylight Delight

Awww.

Lamar fights Tim Duncan

I still so cutely feeling after the game this past night/dawn I am even not too pissed about the new Milan snowfall (it has ended, but it can start back any moment).

Today we are at Karim’s and I can’t wait to celebrate.

Oh, we’re gonna do it in style.

You bet it.

About Valentine’s Day, you know we’re not trulybuying that and so, also considering Valentine’s Day is Marghe’s marriage, we will just have the triple of sex we do normally.

This could put anybody not that trained on a hospital ;) But we’re WAY trained.

Talkin about medical/sexual stuff, Divine A. yesterday was particularly funny in his twitter, naughtely and cutely hinting at… Prostate checks.

Lovely Pau bashes Spurs down

And I’ll end it here.

He had a check up medical visit to do.

But you could imagine he would have turned that into something bratty (the lovely creature of my heart… I didn’t catch him at the game.

I am pretty sure his seat was empty. But I was so taken by the game I might have missed it. He was in no white tee anyway…)

I should actually thank him cos he gave me a couple of ideas for yesterday’s night play (I bought new surgical gloves this morning, asap…)

My lovely Swifty has a bit of flu, so this week I’ll leave him rest. Next week I can just have him on monday/tuesday cos on wednesday I leave for the insane Los Angeles trip (18 hours stay, 32 hours flight… ewww.).

Mash, if you read (and you do) the only way we can have a dinner together is when I arrive. but that would mean a dinner around ten pm. Let me know.

Back at the game, you can read my view from the Lakers Blog’s post. I am VERY proud of the team, and I hope the God Kobe rests and heals and misses also the All Star Game. They don’t deserve you Mamba. Leave them alone, and rest for us, your disciples and lovers. NBA cab have inlated LeBronze and his presumptious ass.

I would love also Pau to send them away, and heal.

But he’s recovering so it can’t happen. The dirty NBA and evil Stern don’t deserve our beloved Lakers, since they are doing everything to boycott us.

Oh, well…

I leave you with the highlights of the AWESOME game:

and the words of sweet, adorable Lamar:

Have a great day folks ;)

Video Mood and a special week

Posted by: zairaamaterasu on: 8 February 2010

Wow.

It’s THE week when my Marghe marries.

This feels huger and huger as the time approaches by.

I am totally reflective today.

Remembering all of our lives together as bonding friends. Better say sisters from different mothers and fathers.

Yesterday New Orleans Saints took over in the SuperBowl the Indianapolis Colts. It was shocking me to catch the live chronicle on RAI2!!! In Italian! I survived only till it was 10-3 for the Colts. Then fell asleep ;) But I ma happy for New Orleans town, that’s for sure.

I am planning anyway to learn about Payton Manning, mainly out from Kobe’s opinion on him.

I am all about music today, listening from iPod to whole albums by:

Garbage:

Delphic:

Cure:

and Mando Diao

Have all a great day. ;)

Lotta Love, your Miss Z.

Lakers won in Portland without The God Kobe!!

Posted by: zairaamaterasu on: 7 February 2010

Iam just happy, cos I hope the team reckons we need all of them to win again.

And also cos Kobe deserves time for resting and healing.

I was delighted with Derek and especially Lamar.

Great job, Candyman.

Good job guys.

Now let’s repeat this very good team effort tomorrow at Staples against San Antonio.

Go, Lakers!!

PS: My club favourite at the moment: I did an awesome double pipe on snowboard to it today ;)

“Dance The Way I Feel”. now… shake ;)

The only 2 good things about Lakers vs Denver humiliation

Posted by: zairaamaterasu on: 6 February 2010

Oh, boy…

I have got my “healing” (yep, the Marving Gaye’s styled kind of).

I have snowboarded like crazy to download the shitty feeling about it.

I have tried to rationalize.

Kobe: the only one who tried again.

I probably did rationalized it… but still I ma so pissed off it’s unreal.

I am playing on the iPod during the snowboarding traits all songs out from heavy trancey records and lots of Queens Of The Stone Age. It works generally.

But no way.

Lakers blowout against the evil Thuggets, the game where all of my worst nightmares just got vivified, has left me so bitter I can’t cope still with ANY of it.

Evil Chauncey.

I predicted you as my nemesis… but you didn’t have to fulfill that, *sigh*!!!

Look at the way they buried us (Adam, after the first quarter you did stop to applaude, ain’t it honey? Who was your guest at your side, that you kept talking with all along?):

How it hurts…

I expressed my view in the Lakers Blog and finally again also in chat about this game. What makes me worry is not our current play, which is a matter of shape; it’s that we lost home advantage to Denver, which scares me way more than the Cavemen lead by inflated LeBronze.

But I have such a bitter, bitter taste in my mouth.

Tonight we play again against the punks by definition, the Portland Trail Blazers.

Divine Adam smiling at the game. I guess this was the first half, right?

At their home.

Oh, my… itchy.

I just have two good things to enlighten about the game past: the way the immense Kobe proved once again is not human, but is a sort of alien hero, a super entity, somebody totally out of reach (playing the way he did when all of other players IN THE WORLD would have been out for injuries multiplied? It’s not human. Really. It’s NOT); and then the Divine Sightseeing, once again.

And there it ENDS.

Nothing more to remember out of this game if not the burning humiliation.

*sigh*…

Video Love: Closer Cover and Robyn Message

Posted by: zairaamaterasu on: 5 February 2010

Oh, man… what a friggin week!!!

It’s snowing like hell; it has over Milan, and it has while we were reachin Courmayeur for the weekend prior to Marghe’s day (let’s hope next weekend weather will be kind…).

I had a monstrous week at work.

I need music in these moments and luckely some blessed soul found a way to upload one of the very early covers of beloved babies of mine, a vintage version of Maroon5 singing one of my all time favorite songs, the awesome “Closer” by mighty Nine Inch Nails.

Those lyrics are DOPE. No wonder Adam loves them… they are so sexually charged is boltering out from the notes.

I love the whole of NIN album The Downward Spiral. It’s really a record everybody should know about.

On a more personal note, I have a message for Rodrigo (yeah: see darlin? I have no problem in mentioning you. NOTE: Rodrigo is NOT “R.”. Rodrigo is one of those people who thinks swagger is about proving how rich or well connected or reckoned you are, in order to impress. FAIL…).

I have for you this song and video instead.

I have always liked this artist, Robyn; and since this song came out everyone around me started and kept saying she sings like I would, about the situation there enlightened.

I agree.

And I answer you with that, Rod: take note, and give up.

You won’t ever reach your target

then let me be subtly bastard:

Point 1): do you really think I need anybody else’s wealth or connections? Lol ;)

Point 2): Karim is anyway better of you there as well, anyway, even if I’d care about those stuff…

GIVE UP.

… you can’t handle me.

Fearing for Kobe… Delighted musically.

Posted by: zairaamaterasu on: 4 February 2010

Sigh…

Arrived at work with this numb over me.

Kobe and Jerry West: LEGENDS face to face

Lakers just won 99-97 against the Charlotte Bobcats but it was such an ugly win I can’t be happy.

I was okay with Lamar and Drew. Not okay with Pau, but as I wrote in the Lakers Blog it’s a matter of shape and he’s on a down moment now. I am not worried.

Though I am sad.

Sad for Kobe, my light and hero… he has FURTHERLY aggravated his ankle injury due to Lamar steppin onto him.

I mean… WTF??? What he’s Kobe like this year… freakin Fantozzi?

Thinkin that everything started so sweetly at Staples Center tonight. Kobe honoured as a legend by the whole of the attendants and Jerry West (another legend) and Magic (THE legend). All witnessed by Divine Adam in his usual seat (enlightened… just as usual in front of our bench… aww). Evidences below:

The legend gets his spotlight... and Divine Adam's position enlightened.

Too bad then everything went just off.

I mean.. completely off.

I can’t feel fine. Karim and I were watching the game in bed, and man… we did perform LOTS of our favourite terapy about how to deal with bad stuff and frustration. That is some of teh best sex ever. Seriously.

But when the rush ends… I still worried about Kobe. Wonder if Vanessa heals him the way Karim and I use to heal one another ;) Hope so. It should work.

Anyway, yesterday it was another HUGE working day. After the marriage of my dear Marghe I will fly in LA and stay there… (laugh) a total of 18 hours. Yep. I fly for the triple of the staying time. I think I will barely eat. *sigh*.

No way I will be able to catch anything beside the working place. But it’s okay. Anyway Summer comes soon and after all I will stay in LA soon for way more.

Swifty my beauty... :)

I rode Swifty indoor yesterday. It downloads my stress to jump with him after long and tight working schedules.

Hopping along him is like jumping over and leave back me all of my worst tickling feelings.

I guess I will need some jumps today too.

Though today is also the usual Wii League so I don’t know if I’ll manage to.

Well, at least musically speaking, the past two days have been awesome.

Adam choruses along in WATW

Not only I keep luring and expecting for February 12th to hear the updated version of We Are The World – 25 for Haiti, but my sweet babies are up to some more, and Adam himself is up for even *some* more.

Where to start from…

I guess I should start from February 11th, which comes prior than February 12 when WATW ramade will be heard and seen.

On February 11th (thanx for telling, Venus!) my adored Maroon 5 will be again in Las Vegas to play for a special event, namely the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Special Issue.

Divine creature singing for the Haitian song

Sounds just about as good as it can get (beside a Victoria Secrets‘ fashion special) in the field of Adam’s favourite surroundings, ain’t it?

Lol ;)

The news is here:

From Yahoo News

Yesterday it was also a good day musically wise cos the babies’ posted a new webisode on their pages, containing excerpts from the College Tour (hear my heart which breaks… yes, that’s it… If I think back of it I keep damning my own bad luck and chicken pox… *sigh and double sigh*)

I love everytime they share videos and especially these kind of those, so you can bet I am posting it:

You know me.. I always leave the best at ends though (works in EVERY situation, believe.. ;) ).

And the best is coming courtesy of NME, which posted yesterday evening the confirmation and tracklist for Slash’s album, due just in time for MY BIRTHDAY ;)

Think I found one of my gifts ;)

Slash album by Slash (and friends)

This is the tracklist of the eponimous Slash album:

‘Ghost’ (featuring Ian Astbury)
‘Beautiful Dangerous’ (featuring Fergie)
‘Nothing To Say’ (featuring M Shadows)
‘Crucify The Dead’ (featuring Ozzy Osbourne)
‘Promise’ (featuring Chris Cornell)
‘By The Sword’ (featuring Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother)
‘Doctor Alibi’ (featuring Lemmy of Motorhead)
‘Saint Is A Sinner Too’ (featuring Rocco De Luca)
‘Watch This’ (featuring Dave Grohl and Duff McKagan)
‘I Hold On’ (featuring Kid Rock)
‘Gotten’ (featuring Adam Levine)
‘We’re All Gonna Die’ (featuring Iggy Pop)
‘Starlight’ (featuring Myles Kennedy)

This is simply awesome.

And hugely flattering.

Now Adam can add “hard rock” to the list of his collaborations. He’s gone anywhere from pop to rock, to rap, to hip hop, to soul, to country, to disco trance music,  to soundtracking to crooning till hard rock now.

I think he lacks just raggae at this point.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if he would get in there soon too. *Sublime*.

Can’t wait to have the record.

Now if they’d drop THEIR own record detailes… I’d be just plain fine. And I’d feel WAY better after Kobe’s trouble.

Have a great day everyone ;) I’ll try to cope with my own one, I promise.

Good morning.

News of the day is that KOBE BRYANT IS THE ALL TIME GREATEST LAKERS SCORER.

All the rest counts WAY less.

I mean… WAY less.

Well… fact is my prediction about the 5-3 record on the road trip was painfully exact.

Pau and Marc Gasol

Darn, I never get those feelings wrong…

Am I showin REALLY superpowers here? Dunno… I wish I were wrong… and so the cuter Gasol (Pau’s brother Marc) had the final laugh against us, courtesy also of the not really aggressive game of everyone in the Lakers corner, ban the always immense God Bryant and this time Ron Ron (though exactly Kobe and Ron Ron missed the final chance to actually WIN the game against the Memphis Grizzlies.).

Shit happens.

What can we say.

I expressed my view in the Lakers Blog as usual, and I reiterate that the game win or loss is just a result of too much of selfcomplacency after yesterday epic win. And some tiredness, as well.

No big deal.

I had my way to get back in celebratory mood. And actually both Karim and I were just happy and proud for Kobe. The win that we had to pull off was against the Celts.

Now let’s get back to LA.

LA, where after all the Grammy Awards fabulousity a quite impressive number of musicians (and actors???) are just recording the 2010 version of the great classic “We Are The World“.

Song will be premiered and explained later, but read here.

There’s one  name you get I am particularly happy to see in the making of…

http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local-beat/We-Are-The-World-Remake-83321157.html

Divine Adam last saturday

The money made will be all devolved to Haiti Relief.

I love charity, so I am not even got to notice that there are incredible idiocities in the composition of the pack (Erm… Jonas? Cyrus? Bieber???? Guess Quincy – rightly so since it’s for charity – wants the brainwashed teen and preteen masses to buy this like crazy… And hopefully they will. Haitians need badly help).

I actually think the 1985 version is UNBEATABLE.

But I am curious to hear how the rappers will rapper on that.

I am also curious to learn what Pink had to say to Kanye after having labeled him the “biggest piece of shit on Earth. Quote me” (I am doing it ;)

Too bad they beef: I think a duet between them would be simply awesome. I still think that Kanye is a music genius. GENIUS. Really.

Anyway… listen to the original We Are The World.

Pure class. It was in my Year of Birth. The song my parents use to play for all the time I was coming and blossoming. Gotta LOVE that.

This song is a masterpiece.

Hope NOBODY tries to sing in place of Michael Jackson (Usher… I am talkin to you.)

UPDATE: How I love when he smiles this way… Absolutely melting my soul out… I shiver. All the time. *sigh*

Okay.

Go Lakers!!!

Surfacing from an INCREDIBLE night, out from a right deserved celebration in pure Sex&Candy style outta of an even more INCREDIBLE win by my beloved Lakers, I try to gather thoughts here before composing a peana in the Lakers Blog about the epic effort of my babies.

Jeez. What a way to win against the hated Green Enemies.

As Tina would sing... We don't need another Hero. We have KOBE!!

What an AMAZING way. 99-98 after trailing for three quarters, and after we had such a promising, convincing first quarter.

It has been like a movie.

One of those where in the end the good heroes win.

That was so intense and awesome.

I screamt at midnight and a quarter so loud I guess they heard me from the Moon.

Absolutely fabulous.

Of course, man of miracle is and forever be the one and only, the God, Kobe Bryant.

It’s just unlimited what he can do.

To follow him is pure magic.

I also have to say THANK YOU to especially Andrew and Ron Ron. They have been fantastic. Fantastic.

This team is born to do magic. If only we could stay healthy…

Taylor Swift Album of the Year? GROSS. Epic Fail, Grammy...

The other big event of the night actually left me cold and disappointeed.

Extremely disappointed.

Driven by a blind need of selling a pop princess and give her credit, so to maximize her record selling appeal outside America, Grammy Committee had the awful idea of landing Album Of The Year (the top prize) at the more than undeserving Taylor Swift.

Oh, boy… girl is cute and sweet (though to me she is quite different in real) and she was abused by Kanye in September (bets thing that might have ever happened to her though since after then she’s America’sSweetheart…) and sure she is a true artist who can at least write songs and play (on the singing.. erm… no, we’ve got to work there A LOT), but… TRULY??? Album of the Year???

No way.

That was a pure marketing step for the record industry.

It erases credibility out of the Grammies.

Completely.

Kings of Leon.. bless ya!:)

Luckely at least Kings of Leon won also one of the major Awards (and a total of 3 for the amazing Use Somebody, which summonize with the one they got last year for the equally beautiful Sex On Fire. That was GOOD). At least a good thing. (MGMT stolen by another Country act? Oh, my… gross, again).

I saw the night at Staples through video (while Karim and I were.. erm.. celebrating the victory against the hated Celtics… ;) ) and I was absolutely left breathless by Pink’s performance.

AWESOME.

That is somebody deserving an award, for up’s sake!!! Next year what… Jonas Brothers for the prize?

Ewww. I am really starting to see that Grammies are becoming just a glammed up version of useless popularity contests as American Music Awards or MTV ones are.

Too bad.

I also loved Gaga and Elton John’s duet. (Gaga won, but not near as much as she should have. Again.. Epic fail Grammy Committee. EPIC).

Oh well, shit happens.

I sense huge backlash out from way too high expectations now.

But whatever. At least GreenDay won too (and I am happy also about Phoenix and Maxwell taking home big prizes… even Eminem! Beyoncé? well, girl can sing and she’s a definite super pro. But I am not buying her holiness, sorry. Some of those six grammies she did not deserve to have them. Singing Alanis live after she BOUGHT her writing credits? GROSS. Again.)

Anyway.

Lakers beat the s**t outta Boston and that feels so incredibly good any other thing disappears from my horizon.

It’s a great day, folks.

A GREAT DAY!!!

Bachelorette madness and music love

Posted by: zairaamaterasu on: 31 January 2010

Good morning and Sunday world!!!

Resurfacing from one AMAZING weekend, where I did all I could to please, shock, entertain and make feel special my best friend, while awaiting – at his pad – for Karim to come back from the Switzerland madness of the boys (along the future husband) I get back to my blog to update it a bit.

It has been such a fabulous weekend.

Decors made with real flowers in

Starting from Friday, when we took Marghe out and driving into a snowfall we reached the private club where we did book for her. I spent quite to rent the whole place (which is NOT up for renting, it’s a regular place, but I am lucky enough to be good friend with the owner, so he just did me a massive favour, which I’ll be always grateful to him for…) and organize a dinner, a show for her (no strippers.. that’s gross and useless. We don’t pay for cute guys to strip for us: we force them to be so heated they will WANT to strip for us anyway…). Then when the place actually opened up for everyone else, the selection would have been out of MY tips given at the entrance. So we had the whole place filled with cute people (both males and females) and we had a BLAST.

The DJ also tried to match his style with our taste, and mostly Marghe’s taste.

Up in the VIP area where we were, there were all giant screens and I could follow, around 1 am, the Lakers game in Philadelphia. It was awesome.

Of course I couldn’t fill in the chat. Seems like it will be impossible for me from the iphone. BUMMER.

Oh, well.

Note: I behaved.

Side note: But I had a couple of hunks around who deserved the teasing treatement, and then I left themm empty-ended. I am cruel. I like that ;)

Marghe had, in her words, “Such a great night I hope marriage won’t cause me to abandon the good life. Zaira… keep me in these things!”.

Don’t worry babe.

The whole place had purple and magenta and warm red’s decorations cos these are the colours Marghe had chosen for her party.

We went home (driven by a choffeur, of course) that it was 8h30 in the MORNING. Whoooo-Hooo!

Hammam is great

The day of Saturday was instead all dedicated at wellness and beauty care. We have been all (12 plus the bride) checked into one of the greatest hammam&beauty farm Italy has to offer and we had the whole day of treatements for us, with special deliver to the bride, of course, who received also a year-long membership for the facility (our gift to her. She was in tears by then ;) ).

After all the day long care, the massive rented limo drove us to Marghe’s favourite Restaurant which is pretty near Lake Como.

A delicious dinner filled with her best digged food, which is all about fishes.

Then we went out checking live music, and then we ended at her place, the new place that she will share with her hubby, and we had a wonderful night of chit-chat about our entire lives together, what it means to her to have us, and what she feels like in being a wife soon.

It has been such an awesome night: I love Marghe and the friendship we have all together. I realized that in a way I ma happy I don’t leave so suddenly for Los Angeles already.

I am happy to stay around here more these days.

Shit… Am I becoming creepily emotional? Oh, my… Hate these things.

Adam, hours ago, at the Green Music Group thing

To fullfill the time gap waiting for Karim to come back, I will probably search the whole of Internet about the Green Music Group bash that has just been held in LA.

James tweeted about it, Questlove tweeted about it, now let’s hope Adam tweets about it too.

And moreover let’s hope for some – more – footage and video, especially considering Questo mentioned a jam consisting of him, Maroon5 and Dave Matthews Band.

Holy… heavenly!!!

PS: looks like somebody cut again his hair. (?? dunno if I really like that. But in the end I know I will…)

Waiting for more to come out, let me remind everybody that tonight there are the GRAMMY AWARDS!!!!!

Do I sound excited? Cos I am. I want these to win: MGMT, Kings of Leon, and Lady Gaga. Plus Green Day and Jamie Foxx and Melanie Fiona. Maxwell and Dave Matthews are fine too with me. Oh, and Depeche Mode. The rest can die.

Some more pics

Beyoncé? No way. Though she probably has already bought all the Committee.

Taylor Swift? Please. Cute and all, but artistically it’s a shame they landed her anything out from the Country category already. Too much of hype for too weak of a voice. But she can grow (this if John Mayer won’t ruin her sanctity… which I assume he did already, actually… and that’s FUN…)

I leave you with some from past week that excited me more as soon as I learnt that it was involving ALSO the mighty, one and only guru of music, Mr. Thom Yorke from the *holy* Radiohead.

Talkin about music (and here I end) yesterday I just almost throwed up a little in my mind when Adam’s brother Michael shout out through twitter his appreciation of… erm… Miley Cyrus? Dear above… I had to differ. He answered that he disagrees, I answered back that musically we live on two different planets. And we always will.

Miley is garbage for 11 years old with a Disney brainwashed music taste (well, taste is a big word here…).
I proudly wear and always will this statement and idea.

Jeez. Music is a serious matter to me. Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, all this useles stuff are a cancer for real music.

Have a great sunday… and today… Lakers against Celtics.

WHOOOOOO-HoOOO!

Go destroy the Green Goblins!!!

My best friend’s bachelorette party:life changes

Posted by: zairaamaterasu on: 29 January 2010

Today is a very, very special day.

Me and my best friend in 1990

My best friend Margherita has her bachelorette party: we will have an all girlie weekend, starting tonight (I have organized a blast, can’t write a thing here or she will read…) and gettin on till Sunday morning.

Karim has left me at the lab this morning freakin out (not seriously) cos he fears what I could do during the celebration.

I replied telling him he has not to worry. And in case I will find someone worthy of betrayal I’ll call him up, so he can come in time to drag the man out of my pants and substitute him (it has already happened when I wasn’t yet… *only his*) straight…

Anyway, I’ll behave. In case I will just tease and be cruel. We are at a safe place tonight. I am sure I cannot claim the same for our boys (I heard they might have organized something in Switzerland. There are brothels there pretty famous.. ;) )

Oh, all’s regular.

Nothing shocks me.

I just warned Karim to keep the future husband in check, cos Marghe’s not as liberal as me when it comes to sex. About Karim himself, I am never jalous. He can do all he likes as long as it’s safe. I am not kidding. I am not a jalous person. I wouldn’t feel betrayed AT ALL. He can have fun *f * if he likes to (of course he won’t due to his own concept of fidelity: but again, it’s upon him, not me. He’s free for me).

Anyway, this day and especially the marriage of my dearest Marghe will definitely be a milestone also in my own life.

We’ve been like sisters all life long.

When I was living in the Uk, and also when I was in the USA for more than one year back in 2005, she kept calling me daily, visiting me all times she could. The same I was doing, and trying to never ever miss any of her mattering facts, such as her driving licence obtaining (SCARY first drive: believe me… SCARY!)

In fact, when it was programmed that I would have been in LA starting from end of February, she decided that she would have married prior to it, to have me all around. Then the program for LA changed, but you get the picture. She chose her wedding date due to ME. It means… a world to me. The entire world.

On Valentine’s Day she will be a wife. I’ll be the bride of honour. I am already training to NOT cry in front of her. It’s not gonna be easy.

I still think it’s quite early for her to marry. Technically she does it at 24. It’s… very soon.

But then you know… I ‘m not the marrying type. So I don’t count for this spoken out opinion – which she is aware of btw.

She’s radiant and he’s definitely a lovely man.

I know nothing changes between us.

It’s just a mark that we’re adults right now.

When your childhood friends, those of your same age range, start to marry, you get the phase of life you’re in is definitely moving forwards.

Feels… intense.

In my mind I think I would like to remain 19 forever. But it’s so NOT possible.

I know.

Marghe, dear: you’re so precious in my life. And I’ll always be here for you. Always.

Glad you joined us for the Wii League yesterday. And get ready: you have NO idea what I have prepared for you honey!

PS: For obvious reasons, today I won’t follow the Lakers. I have just one best friend. And she marries. Her bachelorette party counts everything in my life today :)
